Early Packet Pick-up for everyone who has already registered is today, 4-7:30 p.m. at MADACC, 3839 W. Burnham. Due to a large convention at Miller Park, we strongly recommend you avoid taking I-94 around rush hour this evening to reach us. Side streets will be a better bet!
If you have registered but can’t stop by MADACC this afternoon or evening, you can pick up your packet tomorrow at Hart Park before the event. Packet pick-up will be available beginning at 8 a.m. We recommend you get there early to avoid lines. Due to the convention, heavy traffic is expected around Miller Park 7-10 a.m. tomorrow as well. Please factor this into your travel plans so you don’t miss a minute of Walk Run Wag fun!
Haven’t registered yet? Don’t worry: you can also register tomorrow, beginning at 8 a.m., at Hart Park. We will have a limited number of t-shirts on-hand for people registering tomorrow. Once they’re gone, we’ll take your contact information and make sure you get your t-shirt in the mail after the event.
If you have already registered, your t-shirt will be included in your race packet.
The latest weather report says mid-70s and partly cloudy for race time, with the rain waiting until late in the afternoon. Sounds like perfect weather to Walk, Run and Wag…See you there!

Online registration for Walk Run Walk 2014 has closed, but you can still take part by registering on the day of the event. We’ll be waiting for you at Hart Park this Saturday, June 21, at our registration table starting at 8 a.m. But get there early: race time is at 9:30!
Day-of registration is $25 for the walk, $30 for the run for adults, but children and dogs register for free!
Did you register online? Don’t forget to pick up your racing bib and t-shirt at our early packet pick-up, Friday, June 20, 4-7:30 p.m. at MADACC, 3839 W. Burnham St. First 200 people at early packet pick-up get a special treat!
And remember, come for the race but stay for all the fun that follows, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., including lure coursing, agility, paw painting, vendors, adoptables and more!

Yeah, we thought so. Register online today and start a fundraising page to collect additional donations to benefit the animals. Raise $150 or more through your fundraising page and get this cool limited edition quarter-zip performance pullover with the Walk Run Wag logo (shirts will be delivered after the event).
During the online registration process, after selecting your race day t-shirt size, you’ll be given the option to “Create New Fundraising Page.” Choose your charity — Friends of MADACC is the only option, but you still have to select it! Follow the prompts to complete registration and payment. Then tell friends, family, co-workers, neighbors and anyone else about your page.
Just remember: Online registration closes 11:59 pm Sunday, June 15. Don’t wait!
We’ve received a few questions about whether it’s possible to participate in Walk Run Wag 2014 as a team. It sure is! Just follow these steps to start the process (it may seem like a long list, but you’ll find the process fast and easy):
1. Go to our online registration page.
2. Choose which event your team is participating in (walk, run, run with dog, etc).
3. You’ll be prompted for basic registrant information, and given the option to “add another registrant.” You do not need to register the entire team, just individuals you’ll be paying for.
4. Check the waiver box and then click “continue.”
5. Select t-shirt size(s).
6. Choose “Create or Join a Fundraising Team.” Then, if you’re the team’s captain, choose “Create New Fundraising Page.” If you’re joining an existing team, choose “Join Fundraising Team.”
7. Choose your charity — Friends of MADACC is the only option, but you still have to select it!
8. Choose your fundraising goal.
9. Write a personal message about your goal.
10. Complete the registration and payment as prompted.
11. The most important step — pat yourself on the back for a job well done!

Be sure to sign and return the waiver that’s also part of the registration form — and don’t forget to include your check! We can’t process registrations received without a signed waiver and payment. If you want to go the paper registration route, do it SOON to take advantage of our Early Bird Discount, good through March 31st.
